Regal Heights Raises Money, Awareness for Alzheimer’s Research and Care
Staff and residents at Regal Heights Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center made their lasting commitment to the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease known last weekend when Administrator Cassandra Lor led “Team Remember Me” in a charity walk.
The Alzheimer’s Association’s Annual Walk to End Alzeheimer’s included our group in the “Champions Club” for our donation, which we raised through food and bake sales. A Hot Dog Sale led by Ms. Nathalie Freda, from the Therapeutic Recreation Dept., and several Purple Bake Sales over the summer combined to raise $772.15
Together with our friends at Regency Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, we proudly represented Nationwide Healthcare at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
